OSI - Das neueste zum "Early Settler Programm"

Alle Bewohner von Europa und Drachenfels sowie anderer Nicht-US-Shards sollen sich keine weiteren Sorgen machen. Das "Early Seattler Progam" sowie das Hausplacing auf Malas wird nicht beendet bzw. freigegeben, bevor nicht ein paar Wochen nach jeweiligen Einführung von UO:AoS vergangen sind.
Der Zeitpunkt richtet sich dabei nach dem Standort des Shards und nicht nach dem Wohnort des Spielers. Das bedeutet aber auch, dass ein europäischer Spieler, der z.B auf Great Lakes spielt, schon vor dem 28.02.03 sein Spiel haben muss, um rechtzeitig mit "seinem" Shard dabei sein zu können. Also möge bitte jeder die Daten seines Shards im Auge behalten, um nicht benachteiligt zu werden.

"Early Settlers and Housing Availability on Non-US Shards

With the introduction of our Early Settlers program on the Age of Shadows website (if you haven’t read about it yet, you can do so here (http://www.uo.com/ageofshadows)), we’ve seen quite a few questions from people outside the United States regarding the dates of the offer. Not to worry – the dates will change for each territory, based on the date of the expansion’s release there. This means that if Age of Shadows isn’t released in Europe until March, the end date for the Early Settlers program won’t be for another couple weeks after that – on the European shards. Likewise, the dates for the promotion for the Asian shards will not expire until a couple weeks after AoS hits the shelves in the Asian territories.
To be clear, we determine territory by where the shard is located, not where the player actually lives. This means that a player living in the UK who plays on Europa will be eligible to receive Early Settler bonus items on his/her home shard of Europa, provided he/she upgrades to Age of Shadows by the time the promotion ends for Europe. But if that same European player plays on a North American shard like Great Lakes, they would need to upgrade before the promotion ends in North America in order to receive those bonus items on the Great Lakes shard.

Housing availability for the land of Malas will also work in a similar manner. Before the new land of Malas will be active, all shards will need to be published with the Age of Shadows code (although you’ll still need the Age of Shadows expansion to access Malas and the new features). This publish will be released in each territory to coincide with the release of the game in those areas. That means that European or Asian players don’t need to worry about all the housing space on their shards being taken before they can buy the game, since there won’t even be a Malas on those shards until the game is on the shelves in those areas.

Essentially, what all players will need to do is watch for the dates relevant to their preferred shard of play. If you play on a North American shard, then you’ll be bound by the Early Settlers promotion and Age of Shadows publish dates for North America. If you play on a European or Asian shard, you’ll need to keep checking back here for the dates for those territories.
