"Special note about the Update Range System: This new feature allows players the option to contract or expand the range at which their client collects and displays visible game-world activity. The range can remain at the full level and players will see other characters, creatures, and items within the world as normal. The update area can also be contracted closer to your character. Static objects (such as trees) outside that range will appear greyed out and dynamic objects such as creatures will simply not show up at all. Players with slow connections may find the ability to contract their update range especially useful in high-population areas."

"The update range system is used automatically when you manipulate the slider bar in 3D. In 2D you need to access your macros in order to manipulate the system. The system removes dynamic objects, sounds, and text from a certain area surrounding the player character. Unless set otherwise, static objects will be greyed out in that update range area.
The selections to set the update range are at the bottom of your macro menu. Here is how it works, essentially:
:P Also nicht verzagen, sondern einfach mal ein wenig "rumspielen" !
